Product identification / orientation

Specially shaped packaging, jars or bottles enhance the level of awareness and give products their own image. However, high demands are placed on the production process when it comes to labelling, filling or the configuration of the required packaging patterns.

We offer you a combined optical product identification/alignment station as a compact unit (stepless height and width adjustment) with an overall length of just 1.2 m, an optional integrated camera system and 3-phase motors for alignment.

Automation

• A high speed camera system identifies angles for up to 300 products per min. with an accuracy of up to +/- 1 degree
• Up to 32 test programs in the camera and SPC system with simple changeover by the operating personnel offers great product diversity for the alignment station
• Modular construction with the use of standard components for lean stock-keeping and low investment
• Numerous statistical functions, including the number of products aligned, automated total time, optional linkage to a operational data acquisition system
• Fault recognition (incorrect or lying products) with automatic discharge, statistical evaluation and storage of the last 8 recordings for fault analysis
• Back-up system for saving the test programs, which can optionally be created by itself (low follow-on costs when introducing new products)
